Client:

Metrix is a modern web-based platform that supports transport analysis and planning based on market data from across Europe. It provides users with access to interactive maps, historical data analysis, and real-time metrics such as shipment density and fuel prices. The project was carried out as part of the Trans.eu Group, a leader in logistics technology on the European market.

Project goal:

Develop a tool that enables real-time big data analysis.

Provide intuitive data visualization for users in the transport, shipping, and logistics (TSL) industry.

Build a solution compliant with European data protection standards.

Analytical Workshops

The team began with a series of meetings with the client’s data science experts to define the data modeling approach and the architecture of a system capable of processing large datasets in real time.

Technology Decisions

Use of adapters for data aggregation, enabling optimized processing and presentation of information with a strong focus on user experience.
Frontend development using React.js, supported by Recharts and Leaflet libraries for efficient and clear data visualization.
Backend implementation in Node.js, leveraging GraphQL and Sequelize for effective data management.
Infrastructure built on AWS (ECS, RDS, Docker) and managed with Terraform for scalable, reliable deployment.

Implementation

Interactive maps and charts enabling the analysis of transport orders by country and region across Europe.
User authorization and access management module aligned with Trans.eu’s security standards.
Integration with external APIs (including exchange rates, fuel prices, and Trans.eu data).
Implementation of automated end-to-end (E2E) tests using Cypress, covering login, user permissions, and data integrity.
